ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Glasgow I have grown up with an interest in theatre, TV and films.

Throughout high school I began designing sets for theatre and recreating miniatures from films.

In 2015 I began studying at City of Glasgow College where I have developed my model making skills in various different projects.

EDUCATION

I left Mearns Castle High School after six years achieving five Higher grades and an A in Advanced Higher Art and Design.

It was in my final year when I designed a set for the theatre adaptation of the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell.

I then entered the two year course HND 3D Design: Model Making for the Creative Industries at City of Glasgow College.

This course has given me a HND qualification and has taught me the majority of my model making skills.

THEATRE WORK

From the age of 16 I began working with EROS Musical Society. I work with them as a member of the stage crew with their two annual productions. I have worked on shows such as "Calamity Jane," "Into the Woods," "Aladdin" and later this year "Anything Goes."

I have also done similar work with the theatre company "Runway."

I have worked briefly with the company "Platform" to help produce their pantomime "Three Little Pigs." Working mostly on painting the set I also worked on a prop list for the show.

CA MODELS

I completed a summer internship at the rapid prototyping company CA Models in Stirling. I experienced a variety of 3D printing such as:

Metal Laser Sintering (or MAM) which prints from powdered aluminium using a M2 Cusing Concept Laser and SLM 500HL.

Stereolithography (SLA) which prints from resin using a ProJet 6000 and a ProJet 7000.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLA) which prints from powdered plastic using a EOSINT P395.

I also worked in the model shop sanding and finishing these 3D printed parts.
